A Pinch of Red

After a bit of planning and the theme of red, Annie, my amazing model and I decided to head out towards Blaise Castle.

I imagined a photoshoot featuring red as a bold colour, and the use of butterflies. Since I didn't have a fleet of actual butterflies that were trained to sit still on my model, I decided to buy a pack of red paper butterflies off Amazon.

Things initially didn't go to plan as the butterflies wouldn't stick to the model or any of the surroundings of the forest. So we had to scatter them and hope that they would be viable in some of the shots.

The shoot was brilliant, however I wish I had a better range of lens' as the lighting was harsh in some shoots, where as I would have preferred a softer, brightening look.
