After creating our audio piece, we decided to create a poster that would go along with the audio project as It was played aloud to our audience.
Our audio project is quite dark and twisted (written by me), to suit the directors vision as he wanted to do a dark themed project as our topic we were focusing on is Penny Dreadfuls. This meant I wanted our poster to watch this, as well as foreshadowing one of the twists within the story.

This is the original photo I took with my camera. I used one of my liquid face masks and dripped it all over my hand as its red, runny and it looks a little bit like blood. I also scrunched up and handful of cotton wool so it would be easier to photoshop the hand holding something.
I took about 10 different images/shots of my hand and the wool to make sure I would have a variety of images, but the image is above is the final shot I decided to use.

After a few hours of playing around with photoshop, I finally managed to create the above image. Using sectioning, smudging and a few paint brush effects, I managed to convert a small section of cotton wool into an eyeball. Since I used wool and I was unable full recreate a realistic eye, my eye looked slightly cartoonish. Because to this I tried to blur the hand and also make it look slightly cartoony so that way the eye would blend in better.
I really enjoyed editing the and I'm proud that I was able to take cotton and convert it into something else.
