After many months of thinking and critically analysing my old brand (Chazmander) I decided it was time for a change, a change that felt entirely different, whilst still holding an aspect of my new brand.

Whilst I still love my old brand, I didn't feel like it hand anything to do with me as a person other than being owned by yours truly. Chazmander was a nickname given to me occasionally when growing up with Pokemon, however this name never stuck. If anything I only chose to begin my brand with it because it was the only nickname I could think of that was jazzy and slightly different.

Why did I spend so much time trying to create logos around Chazmander when there were so many different names I could have used which would have resulted in easier and more creative logos that the word "Chazmander" With a camera stuck to it.

Then it came to me, ChazzieBee.

It originally came to me when I was sat trying to think of a new username for my personal Instagram. How could I show my name without just showing my name?

Since I can remember I've been called Charlotte B my intire life. Mainly because I grew up with quite a lot of Charlotte's around me so in order to keep track you were either Charlotte X, Y or Z and in my case I was Char B. How is this relevant to my new brand? Well this was the base for my new brand.

Another nickname, Chaz, is used more frequently by my friends at university and I accepted it as my main nickname as it was a jazzy version of Char. So I crammed the words Chaz and B together to form ChazB - not a super creative name. Luckily this was unavailable as it was someone else's username. A few more Zs and letters later I came up with my favourite name: ChazzieB. I personally love Bees and since the letter B was in my name why not turn it into the insect and create a logo out of it? However this name was unavailable on Instagram so I decided to set that as Chaz_Bee but my overall main brand name is ChazzieBee

Not only does it feel like it is detached and not associated with a popular gaming franchise, but it feel like it has more and bits and pieces to it that represent me, and therefore make it my brand!

So thats how ChazzieBee came to Bee ;)

I've already made a post dedicated to creating a brand so instead of making a new one for ChazzieBee i'll keep the old one up since the process of making it was exactly the same, all designs were entirely made by hand, by me on Adobe!
